The WRAP EGU Emissions Analysis Workshop will be held on Tuesday, November 6th from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM at the Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel.  Please book your room by Oct 16th online or by phone at 888-627-8152. Participants include state air agency staff and Western electric utility representatives.  The purpose of the meeting is to understand the project scope and expected deliverables, and to begin the reviewing the data that will be used to establish the 2014 EGU emissions baseline for upcoming Regional Haze planning and analysis.  Other topics for this workshop include an overview of Regional Haze analysis and planning activities, discussion of planned and potential coal unit retirements in the West, and agreeing on next steps for this project, including the schedule and any changes to project scope or design.  Background information and materials for review will be sent prior to the meeting.

  • Presentation and review of the 2014 baseline data for EGU emissions across 13 western states
  • Analysis of trends and changes in the sector from 2014 to 2017 based on operational changes, controls, and unit retirements
